    The Cost of Conformity

    The Cost of Conformity

Episode74: The Cost of Conformity Explicit
Today my special guest is Carrie Jeroslow.
Best-selling author and Relationship Diversity Advocate, Carrie Jeroslow, is passionate about bringing intentionality into intimate relationships by releasing the programming of what we’re taught relationships SHOULD be and shifting to what we really WANT them to be.
Her podcast, Relationship Diversity Podcast, aims to explore, question, and celebrate all aspects of relationship structure diversity This is an inclusive space, giving people the permission to design their unique relationships from the knowledge and acceptance of their unique selves.
She has been seen on NBC, PBS, The CW, featured in, Winston Salem Journal, Prevention and Newsweek, and has been interviewed by Marianne Williamson, Go All In TV, The ListTV, and many others to share her message, as well as her first book, Why Do They Always Break Up with Me?
Just from reading her Bio you can see that we are so aligned in our missions. Today we talk about preserving our energy, people pleasing and the dangers of conformity. Why is it dangerous to conform? Isn't it important to belong and make sure that we are following the rules?
Our society is built on certain rules to follow when it comes to relationships and sexuality. Many of us have been taught to follow these rules with no regard to our own intuition or discomfort. We are not taught to ask ourselves what we would like, what we enjoy, what our needs are, etc... We are taught to put our heads down, hustle, do what you are told and conform so that everybody can get along and so that society can be easier to manage. The thing is, many people are living out a program that does fit them or even meet their needs. We have an epidemic of mental health issues and dissatisfaction. Past generations were not taugh about the correlation between our physical and mental health with the joy in our lives.
We are told that marriage to one person forever is the only way to live "Happily Ever After." However, this is false. Very few people actually have healthy marriages and relationships. There is so much infidelity and we are taught that sexuality is shameful and desiring it is even worse. Is it any wonder that we are suffering to be authentic in our world?
There is a serious cost to conformity even if you don't realize it.

Loving the Life You Have with Nina Powell

Loving the Life You Have with Nina Powell

Episode73: Loving the Life You Have with Nina Powell Explicit
Today my special guest is Nina Powell.
Purposed with infectious inspiration, Nina is the founder of the Wild, Divine, Orgasmic Leadership Movement. Nina is sharing her liberation with the world's most impeccable women through individual and group experiences and retreats. Her clients, the bravest of women; enjoy amazing connections to their body, feel exquisite levels of self-expression, and step into their power like nobody's business. These women access their true inner goddess, magnetize their desires, and hold a divine magnetism that brings them an impenetrable inner joy and peace.
"When my inner world transformed I realised much of my thinking of this or that not being right was my nervous system being bound up with the past. It was causing me to want to run. Fight, flight or freeze are the only solutions that our ancient brain structures have.
Truth can only come once we've transformed our inner world and reclaimed our life force.
Then we find that it’s possible to both create an amazing life AND enjoy it!"

Our conversation today went in many directions but at the heart of it, we discussed not just creating the life you want but actually loving the life you have as the catalyst for change. When we love being ourselves and love our life even when it isn't exactly how we want it, we start to create the very life we desire. When we learn to enjoy each moment and bring pleasure into our lives, we start to notice and experience things we never noticed before. When we get out of our heads and into our bodies we start to feel and experience life at a different level.
Life becomes a new adventure that we can embark on with curiousity. We can experience joy in the little things that we would never have noticed before. Pleasure is a birthright but we have been taught that it is irresponsible or an extra in life, however, without pleasure, life becomes mundane and difficult. We are built to enjoy pleasure, sensation, and joy but our society and all of it's rules have shut us down from the experience of truly living!

A Former JW's Journey to Self Love and ENM

A Former JW's Journey to Self Love and ENM

Episode72: A Former JW's Journey to Self Love and ENM Explicit
Today my special guest is Ariel.
I will keep her anonymous as she was kind enough to share her vulnerable story with us and allow me to interview her.
This beautiful girl has had quite a journey growing up as a Jehovah's Witness and eventually leaving the church. There is so much shame associated with leaving a religion that is deep rooted since childhood. When you are taught that you have the absolute truth, your mission on earth is to basically tell others they are wrong your whole life. It's exhausting and it is a challenge to truly love without expectation.
You are taught that self love is selfish and that you must love only God/Jehovah, or your life is basically meaningless and you risk being shunned and ostricized by the only community you have know if you question anything.
Ariel was able to leave and rebuild her worldview as well. She has learned to deeply treasure herself and has overcome the shame around sexuality and body image. Modesty is revered in these communities and anything else is sinful. It is so hard to shed that programming and become sex positive.
Now, she is a beautiful example of self love and successful Ethical Non-Monogamy. She is able to embrace who she is to her core and make deep lasting connections with people in this beautiful world that are based on love and true authenticity.
I want this for all of you! Enjoy this week's episode.

    Love, Karine

Today my special guest is Kim Coffin. She is a certified Trauma Informed, Somatic (body-based) Empowerment & Sexuality Coach, Bestselling Author & Teacher, a graduate of Layla Martin’s Institute of Integrated Tantric Sexuality, and founder of Get Your Sexy Back.
She specializes in Sexuality, Tantric Sex and Relationship Transformation giving you the tools to unleash your sexual confidence and unlock profound new levels of self-love, pleasure, empowerment, and intimacy with yourself - and in your relationships!
By creating deep trust and safety in your body and mind, Kim will show you how to RECONNECT to your body, ACTIVATE your turn-on, HEAL heartbreak & shame, and RECLAIM your true SEXY self so that you can fully step into your UNAPOLOGETIC POWER!

Do you even know what your turn ons are? Are you living with joy in your body? Do you pay attention to how your erogenous body or "pussy" feels on a daily basis?
This episode is truly magical and "pussylicious." When was the last time you really connected with your body enough to listen. Sacred pleasure gives us permission to get into our sensual bodies and recognize that this part of our body deserves so much more attention that what society leads us to believe. Our society knows that if we all were successful at getting rid of shame and guilt about our bodies and our sexuality, we would be so empowered and literally unstoppable. This is our lifeforce and you can't control a society that is so tuned into and aware of their bodies.
I would like to imagine that woman listening to their pussys could completely change this mental health crisis we are in. Men tapping in to their sensual selves would start to really "know" themselves and show up in relationships with empowered vulnerability and care. It's amazing what happens when we give ourselves permission to get out of our heads and really start living and feeling.
It's time to really shed this shame and guilt about our turn ons, bodies, needs and desires and start LIVING our PUSSYLICIOUS LIFE!

Kim has a Free Gift for my listeners to get you started on this journey of activating your turn on and you can find the link below.
