Episode36: Why Non-Monogamy Gets a Bad Rap
Today my special guest is Chantel Porter.
Chantel Porter is a Women's Deconditioning Specialist and Mentor, She combines Human Design, Trauma-Informed Practices, Emotional Health & Energetics in working with women to restore them to their natural wild state by remembering who they are, reclaiming their power and rewilding the woman within. Think of it like restoring a piece of land back to its natural state, but for women!
Chantel is a 2x award-winning international best-selling author of two books. She uses Human Design as part of her magic to guide women back to who they indeed are because she wants all women to be lit up by their lives. Some of her favourite work is in smashing the narrative around women and money, healing family & childhood wounds, deprogramming cultural conditioning, and breaking the cycle of abuse and trauma.
Today, I ask Chantel about her experiences in the world of Ethical Non-Monogamy. She used to be in this world and shares with us some of the experiences that were not healthy so that we can learn why things go wrong and how to prevent it. She says that it is so important to tap into our desire in life in order to fully live authentically.
She also agrees that if we aren't prepared and don't do the work on ourselves, we won't attract the right kind of people that bring us joy in this world. It's much easier to encounter drama and negative experiences.
